EF Coaching
EF Coaching at Golux Strategies is designed for adults navigating ADHD and executive functioning challenges — including college students, recent graduates, and young professionals.
EF and ADHD challenges show up as missed deadlines, unfinished projects, strained relationships, and the exhausting gap between intention and follow-through. Golux Strategies EF Coaching is for adults who are ready to close that gap.
The ADEPT Method is Golux Strategies' proprietary framework for EF coaching — structured, evidence-informed, and built around how people actually work.
The ADEPT Method
The ADEPT Method is a structured, twelve-session coaching engagement developed specifically for adults navigating ADHD and executive functioning challenges. It is practical, systems-focused, and built around how people actually work.
ADEPT moves clients from assessment through sustained practice in five phases
Assess
Every engagement begins with a comprehensive intake evaluation across the seven core areas of executive functioning: response inhibition, working memory, sense of time, prospective memory, hindsight and forethought, self-activation, and emotional regulation. The first session produces a clear picture of where the real challenges are.
Design
From that assessment, coach and client co-create a coaching plan focused on the highest-priority areas, built around the specific person and their goals.
Experiment
The Experiment phase is a structured process of discovery — testing tools, strategies, and approaches across sessions, refining what works and setting aside what doesn't.
Practice
Building new systems requires repetition and accountability. The coaching relationship is an accountability partnership — a structure that makes follow-through more likely and sustainable over time.
Track
Progress needs to be visible to be useful. The ADEPT framework builds tracking in from the start — through structured exercises, session summaries, documented takeaways, and a comprehensive Coaching Engagement Report at the close of the engagement.
Coaching Format
The standard engagement is twelve 45-minute sessions over Zoom, with an optional extension. All sessions are conducted virtually.
What Clients Walk Away With
Throughout the engagement, clients receive educational materials, exercises, and weekly session summaries. The engagement closes with a comprehensive Coaching Engagement Report — a documented record of the work, the strategies tested, and the systems that stuck. In addition, clients receive curated resources to support continued practice.
